THE JOLSON STORY CONTINUES

The membership will hear Al Jolson songs as they check in and get seated. Steve Rothschild will discuss Al Jolson, the Jolson Society, and share some stories about Jolson.  Steve will lip synch two of Jolson’s biggest hits.

We’ll watch the updated version of the 1962 Joseph Cotton’s “Hollywood and the Stars” Al Jolson, The World’s Greatest Entertainer.

In addition, we’ll view the lost piece from the Jolson Story with Larry Parks performing the song, “The Cantor on the Sabbath”. This is very rare footage never seen!

Steve will lip sync several well-known Jolson classics.

A fun night for sure!
